WASHINGTON – August 23, 2018 – Kylanne Green, president and CEO of healthcare accreditor URAC, has announced her retirement after five years with the organization. Green had previously served on the URAC Board of Directors for two decades and as Board Chairman for two years. Green’s career in the healthcare industry began with frontline nursing and progressed into management and executive leadership, including organizations such as Inova Health System, the Health Insurance Association of America, Aetna Health Plans of the Mid-Atlantic and Kaiser Permanente.
“It has been an honor and a privilege to advocate for patients and the need for high quality healthcare, both as a care provider and as an executive,” said Green. “My time in healthcare, most recently with URAC, has allowed me to experience firsthand the innovation and evolution of the American healthcare industry. Reflecting on her work at URAC, Green said “Although bittersweet, my retirement from URAC is well timed. I leave behind a strong organization with a bright future in very capable hands.”

Green will remain in her role with URAC until a replacement is named. A national search is currently underway.
